Vitec brings its ecosystem of HEVC distribution and contribution solutions to Amsterdam

Vitec is demonstrating in IBC 2018 how your ecosystem of solutions HEVC video distribution and contribution latest generation with new MGW Diamond encoder; are MGW Ace encoder and decoder; and a playout server, a versatile point-to-point contribution and distribution under HEVC standard.

Making its European debut at IBC 2018, MGW Diamond adds four-channel HEVC encoding in a compact, portable form factor to the HEVC family. Vitec's new playout server provides an efficient platform to manage, capture, preview and distribute IPTV streams, complementing its peer-to-peer HEVC contribution ecosystem.

At the show, Vitec will also showcase its latest innovation in codecs for its Ace MGW encoder and its pair of Ace MGW decoders, with impressive ultra-low latency streaming up to 30ms glass-to-glass.

Vitec also exhibits at its stand the new integrated capabilities of the EZ TV Media Library which allows business users, government and military units, and sports teams to tag, edit, organize, store, and share media files. With seamless integration with EZ TV IPTV and signage workflows, video-intensive businesses can use the EZ TV media library to streamline processes from live streaming, recording and archiving, to collaboration and image sharing through powerful search tools, all within a single, enterprise-friendly user interface.
