Bruno Burtre joins Noa as business development director

Burtre will oversee strategic and operational marketing activities and customer relationship activities worldwide.

Noah, specialist in AV digitization and archiving, has appointed Bruno Burtre as business development director. In his new role, he will oversee all strategic and operational marketing and customer relations activities worldwide.

Before joining Noa, Burtre held the position of executive director of the Department of Education, Research and Training of the National Audiovisual Institute of France (INA) since 2012. At INA, he was in charge of promoting the INA Expert strategy and strengthening the organization's leadership as an educator and trainer in the audiovisual, digital and transmedia fields, reinforcing his experience and promoting the development of research as a source of innovation.

Bruno Burtre, with a technical and audiovisual background, also previously worked as sales director at Vetracom's specialized laboratory. He has a deep knowledge of audiovisual production and archives and, early in his career, worked in Sony Europa, where he contributed greatly to the technological advances of the sector. Initially in charge of Broadcast's Customer Support Department for Europe, in 2002 he launched the first mass migration of audiovisual files and established innovative ways to preserve magnetic tapes.

Bruno Burtre and Noa began collaborating in 2005 with the launch of a multi-threaded digital audio channel using the NOA Record system.

Burtre will join Noa's team in the FIAT/IFTA World Conference 2018 which will take place in Venice, Italy, from October 9 to 12.
