María Ripoll films 'Live twice' in the Valencian Community
Alamar Cinema, Convoy Films and Plural Jempsa are the producers of this comedy, whose filming will last seven weeks.
Maria Ripoll (Now or Never, Don't blame Karma for what happens to you because you're an idiot) directs live twices, a comedy full of emotion and desire to live, starring Oscar Martínez (Illustrious citizen, Knock Knock), Inma Cuesta (The Bride, Three Too Many Weddings), Mafalda Carbonell and Nacho López (Afterwards, what do you have at stake?).
Filming will take place over seven weeks through various locations in the Valencian Community.
Ripoll assures that “live twice It is a portrait, in a comedic tone, of the passage of time, a reflection on maturity. It is a journey that affects three generations, those of Emilio, Julia and Blanca; a Spanish-style road movie, with all its elements.”
Cinema sign, Convoy Films y Plural Jempsa are the producers of live twice, which has the participation of RTVE, Netflix, À Punt Mèdia, Valencian Institute of Culture and Crea SGR.
The film will be distributed in Spain by Filmax and international sales by Film Factory.
A crazy trip
Emilio (Oscar Martínez), his daughter Julia (Inma Cuesta) and his granddaughter Blanca (Mafalda Carbonell) embark on a crazy and at the same time revealing journey. Before Emilio's memory fails permanently, his family will help him look for the love of his youth.
Along the way they will find the opportunity for a new life without traps. Questionable decisions and setbacks will lead them to confront the deceptions on which they have built their lives. Is it possible to live twice?
