A Punt - Audiovisual archive management agreement signed

The Generalitat Valenciana (GVA), the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC) y At Punt They have signed a collaboration agreement so that public radio and television manages both its own audiovisual archive and that of the defunct RTVV.

This agreement allows At Punt can exploit the documentary funds of the ancient canal 9, as well as the images, audiovisual documents and sound files produced by À Punt. In this way, the complete documentation service that responds to the daily needs of Valencian radio and television, which range from consultation al use o exploitation of the documentary collections.

The IVC will provide its own human and material resources, in addition to all the acquired knowledge for the management and use of these documentary collections, an intrinsic part of the Valencian audiovisual heritage. The agreement will have a duration of four years and will be extendable.

Participating in the signing (in the photo, from left to right) were José Mº Vidal, president of the Consell de l’Audiovisual; Francisco Aura, general director of À Punt; José Manuel Cuenca, regional secretary of the Cabinet of the President and Communications; Vicente Ordaz, president of CACVSA, and Àlvaro López-Jamar, general director of the IVC.
