Christie will be the official projection provider at CineAsia 2018

As the official projection provider and in support of the prestigious event, Christie will provide the latest technologies and cutting-edge solutions such as its CP4325-RGB cinema projectors.

Christie has been named official supplier of projection elements for CineAsia 2018. The event will be held from December 10 to 13, 2018 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Christie has been regularly participating in CineAsia for years, the only pan-Asian fair dedicated to the film exhibition and distribution sectors on the continent. The event brings together professionals from across the spectrum of the film industry, from cinema owners to equipment suppliers to film buyers and distributors.

As the official projection provider and in support of the prestigious event, Christie will provide the latest technologies and cutting-edge solutions as a CP4325-RGB cinema projector for CineAsia's Theater One.

Andrew Sunshine, president of The Film Expo Group, organizer of CineAsia, assures that "during the celebration of CineAsia, all the major product presentations and screenings held at Theater One will be carried out with Christie technology. Christie RealLaser

All large screenings and product presentations that take place at CineAsia will be carried out with a Christie CP4325-RGB cinema projector, a model that ensures a premium experience for those attending large cinemas. With CineLife electronics and RealLaser lighting, this compact “all-in-one” projector, in line with DCI standards, guarantees very high image quality and a long operational life. And all this with a truly low cost of ownership.

Using separate lasers for red, green and blue, Christie RealLaser provides cinema exhibition solid-state lighting with a much wider color palette, close to the Rec. 2020 standard, and more than 30,000 hours of theater operation without lamp changes. It is the only laser technology that offers brightness levels above DCI standards throughout its natural life. The launch of its first model, the CP4325-RGB, occurred in December 2017. Christie plans to officially announce at CineAsia 2018 the launch of 2K versions of its family of RealLaser cinema projectors: the CP2315-RGB and CP2320-RGB (details will be announced during the event).
