FORTA awards VSN the digital management service for content exchange

The project, based on the VSNExplorer Media Asset Management (MAM) system, will allow the FORTA headquarters and the different regional production centers to receive and transfer audiovisual files.

The Federation of Autonomous Radio and Television Organizations (FORCE) has awarded to VSN the supply, installation, administration and maintenance of its digital management service for the exchange of audiovisual content. The project, based on the system VSNExplorer Media Asset Management (MAM) As the central core of the solution, it will allow the production centers of the regional governments and FORTA's own headquarters to receive and transfer between them the audiovisual files necessary in their content exchanges (whether it be informational, sports, advertising material, programs, films and series, or any other that could be defined).

The new solution will also allow manage the ladders, forecasts and subscriptions of the TVAS, as well as automate processes and tasks of its daily operations. All this flow will be carried out remotely and from a web platform, without the need to install any additional application to carry it out.

This distributed MAM system, completely web and personalized, will offer FORTA the possibility of coordinating the entire list of catalogs by type of content, file movement automations and optimizing file transfers between the different TVAs. All of this is always based on the content forecasts that have been agreed internally in daily operation, and you can even subscribe in advance of a forecast and start receiving the content automatically while it is being ingested.

In addition to these workflows, the solution will allow access to other advanced VSNExplorer MAM functionalities, such as complete user management, content preview, advanced metadata management or publishing from the workstations themselves. The solution also includes the module VSNExplorer Business Intelligence (BI) to generate personalized and automatic analytical reports, as well as a completely redundant ingest and playout system, based on the VSNOne TV Channel-in-a-box.
