Under the honorary presidency of Queen Doña Letizia, the Royal Academy of Engineering, which has the collaboration of the Engineering and Society Forum, will organize the Next March 4 in Valencia the I National Congress Women in Engineering, Technology and Industry (MITI).

Among the professionals who will participate in the congress, Nuria Oliver, academic at the Royal Academy of Engineering, stands out; Alicia Mora and María Pocoví, co-founders of Emotion Research Lab; Elena Pisonero, president of Hispasat; Ángeles Delgado, president of Fujitsu for Spain, Portugal and Latin America; Mercedes and Lucía Iborra, VisualNACert; Mónica Bragado, president of the UPV Social Council; Soledad Bergebal, Actiú; Gloria Lorenzo, founder of the Oracle Women's Leadership Program; Sara Gómez, RAI advisor and director of the Women and Engineering project,

This congress is an important milestone to highlight the indisputable importance of female talent in engineering, technology and industry, seeking the awareness and commitment of public institutions, companies, universities, colleges and professional associations, media and representatives of the third sector.

The one-day congress will be organized in three blocks that will cover the following topics: the transformation of society through digitization; the energy: a lever for social and economic growth and development; and the female talent: its value in today's society.

Each block will be developed from some testimonies in which technology-based entrepreneurs will share their experiences in first person, constituting themselves as success stories and, perhaps, as models, followed by respective round tables in which female figures of high professional relevance will participate.
