Mexico opens the largest multiplex in the world with Christie's 'pure laser' projectors

Cinemex inaugurates an impressive cinema complex equipped with pure laser RGB projectors, based on Christie RealLaser lighting technology, as well as the Christie Vive Audio cinema sound system.

The Mexican exhibitor Cinemex has recently inaugurated an impressive cinema complex equipped with pure laser RGB projectors based on technology RealLaser next to the sound Live Audio, ambos de Christie.

The Cinemex Market ARTZ Pedregal multiplex in Mexico City has installed in each of its twenty-three theaters CP2315-RGB and CP2320-RGB projectors with Christie 2K resolution, thus providing them with unprecedented levels of brightness, color and contrast at the service of a cinematographic quality that is difficult to find in commercial cinema auditoriums. In addition, all rooms are equipped with the Christie Vive Audio cinema sound solution.

Con twenty-three screens and a capacity of 1,172 spectators, the Cinemex Market ARTZ Pedregal complex has also installed Christie Vive Audio sound in all its auditoriums. “The combination of the most advanced image and audio provides the viewer with a unique and unforgettable experience,” concludes Armus.

The impressive equipment of Cinemex Market ARTZ Pedregal includes all the experiences that define the Cinemex brand, with Vive Audio sound configured specifically for each room. Thus, Cinemex's CinemeXtremo PLF experience includes a configuration Dolby Atmos with LA3/S215 screen channels, LA3C ceiling speakers and LA4S surround speakers. The Platinum experience offers a 7.1 configuration consisting of LA1/S115 screen channels and LA3S surrounds. And the Premium experience, 7.1 configuration with LS2 screen channels and LS2S surround speakers. All auditoriums are equipped with S218 LFE subwoofers powered by Christie CDA Class D amplifiers.
