Nevion names Brotelec its main collaborator to develop the business in Mexico and Central America

Nevion's solutions cover signal transport over IP networks, fiber optics, SDH networks for contribution, digital terrestrial television broadcasts and remote production.

Nevion, a leading company in signal processing, remote production and virtualization, has selected Brotelec, subsidiary of the Spanish company Sapec, like his official distributor for Mexico and Central America.

Nevion provides solutions signal processing and transport television in real time and with high reliability to broadcasters, operators and government agencies. Its proposals allow the transport of signals over IP networks, fiber optics, SDH networks for contribution, digital terrestrial television broadcasts and remote production.

Some of their solutions for virtualization and remote production They are Gateways for the conversion of signals to IP (3G SDI without compression -SMPTE 2110 Part 20/30/31/40-), JPEG2000 encoders/decoders for 3G-SDI or 4K signals (SMPTE 2022), TICO encoders/decoders for 4K signals (SMPTE 2022), MADI audio compression, data (Intercom, RS422/432…).

Regarding IP signal routing, Nevion has IP routers with a capacity of up to 2.4Tb with 1/10GigE interfaces. Its global management system SDN (Software Define Network) VideoIpath Orchestrator allows complete control and monitoring of the network and equipment (manufactured by Nevion or by third parties).

Its video routers allow working with 3G-HD-SDI-ASI signals with sizes from 16×16 to 128×128, with support for 4K signals, clean-switching, possibility of combining optical and electrical inputs/outputs, redundant power supply, remote panels.

In its portfolio we also find video and audio distributors, embedders, Up/Down/Cross converters, frameSynchronizers, electrical/optical converters, CWDM/DWDM multiplexing... It also offers multiplexers with IP/ASI inputs/outputs that allow processing up to 24 Transport Streams as well as low-delay H.264 modular encoders.

Brotelec is a Mexican company, a subsidiary of the Spanish company Sapec, manufacturer of video encoders and decoders, with more than forty years dedicated to providing video-audio transmission solutions in professional and real-time environments. Sapec has been a Nevion collaborator in Spain for more than fifteen years.
