100 Balas will produce Orange Spain's first fiction series
The agreement between Mediapro and Orange will mark the telecommunications company's debut in national production for its television service.
Orange y Mediapro have announced today an agreement for the production of what will be the telecommunications company's first fiction series in Spain, destined to be broadcast through its platform Orange TV. The realization will be in charge of 100 Reply, owned production company The Mediapro Studio.
The series, whose creator and screenwriter is José A. Pérez Ledo, author of two novels (This is not a love story, A place to return to), as well as creator and director of Orbit Time, y guionista en varios programas y ficciones de la televisión española, será una ficción de género, con grandes dosis de adrenalina, destinada a un target comercial de perfil joven.
La producción, cuyo rodaje comenzará el próximo otoño, contará además con una estructura narrativa novedosa, apoyada en el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, que tendrán una presencia destacada, tanto desde el punto de visual como dramático.
“The proven experience of The Mediapro Studio in the field of production makes it the best traveling companion we could have to launch the first fiction project on our television platform, which, in this way, further enriches its wide range of content,” he commented. Jose Antonio Guzman, director of Orange TV.

Para The Mediapro Studio, el acuerdo con Orange inicia una nueva etapa de colaboración con este operador y supone un paso más en su estrategia para consolidarse como estudio de producción de referencia tanto nacional como internacional, con 34 ficciones en marcha en este momento, entre las que figuran títulos ya anunciados y que se hayan actualmente en proceso de producción como Malaka, Perdida, Vis a Vis: El Oasis, By H or by B o la producción internacional The Paradise.
