Lingokids, a Spanish company with a global presence, has taken a further step in its innovative methodology for learning English for children aged 2 to 8 with the production of a series of Interactive Cartoons. The development of the new content has been led by Guillermo García Carsí, creative director of the company and author of the famous character of Pocoyo, leading a team of designers, producers, animators and video game developers.

Each episode is integrated into a pack that includes complementary games and activities, and children are offered the opportunity to interact with the content so that they can consolidate and learn the vocabulary related to the chapter they have just watched. In addition, the stories incorporate an emotional component that aims to instill in a fun way not only the learning of English, but also social and educational values.

"We wanted to offer our young users added value to the content we have been providing them through our app, and we thought that producing a cartoon series would allow us to reach them in a more emotional way. The new episodes make children empathize more with the characters, identify with them and their emotions, so that this also helps them to understand their own," explains García Carsí.

Another of the objectives of these new chapters is to promote the creativity of the little ones. For example, with the first chapter, entitled The robot contest, bonus activities include the ability to build and customize your own robots.

On the other hand, the content of the episodes has been designed so that parents can enjoy watching them together with their children. To do this, the stories combine children's ingredients of a humorous nature with popular or general culture references that adults will identify as a wink aimed at them. In this way, it is intended to encourage conversation in English between parents and children, making them participants in their learning process.

"With the new episodes that we have developed, we reinforce the effectiveness of our learning method and maintain our commitment to high-quality content, both in the aesthetic or design part and in the training itself. We want to contribute to the development of the skills that the new generations will need for their future incorporation into the labor market," he says Cristóbal Viedma, CEO and co-founder of Lingokids.

The first episode, The robot contest, is now available to all Lingokids users through its app, and for a limited period of time can be enjoyed for free from the website www.lingokids.com/episodes.
