DearVR PRO – An all-in-one solution for 3D audio productions

The 3D audio panner will soon offer a new multi-channel function for playback of 5.0 to 13.1 speakers.

In IBC, Dear Reality has announced the v1.4 update to its flagship spatial audio software solution: Starting in October, the DearVR Pro 3D Audio Panner It supports 26 multi-channel output formats. In addition to the binaural and Ambisonics outputs, the software will be able to play multichannel formats for rspeaker output from 5.0 to 13.1, for example for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, MPEG-H or Ambeo Soundbar Sennheiser.

In addition to the new multi-channel function, a new highlight of DearVR PRO is a optimized virtual simulation of distance and acoustics which recreates the spatial characteristics of places of worship, concert halls, living rooms, cars... to produce surprisingly realistic sound. The update also results in a performance optimization of up to 60%, which means more instances of DearVR PRO can be processed simultaneously.

In combination with control software DearVR Spatial Connect, sound creators can mix multi-channel productions directly in VR, for example in virtual studios or virtual cinemas, and monitor the mix via a corresponding setup of monitor speakers. When combined with recording and playback equipment Sennheiser y Neumann, DearVR products are capable of creating complete workflows, which will be expanded in the future.

The DearVR Pro version 1.4 update will be released in October and will be free for existing DearVR Pro customers.
