If last year Seville was the city chosen to present the highest awards for Spanish cinema, in its thirty-fourth edition the festival of the film industry produced in our country was held in the José María Martín Carpena pavilion in the city of Málaga.

The light and color of the Costa del Sol (despite the bad weather during the day) inspired a show with great visual sense, technically impeccable and that raised the curtain in front of 3,200 people with a musical tribute to the films of recent decades that have become an icon for several generations.

For the second consecutive year, the running of the gala was in the hands of Silvia Abril and Andreu Buenafuente, more restrained in their comedic side than on other occasions due to the demands of the script. For the first time, different people outside the world of cinema made a synopsis of some of the nominated films.
