Warner Bros. Spain and Energy Services present their scholarships to ECAM students
The School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid offers these scholarships aimed at students who demonstrate special talent but who have fewer economic possibilities.
Warner Bros. Entertainment Spain scholarship for the sixth consecutive year the talent trained in the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid (ECAM), promoting the training of a Diploma student.
Since 2013, Warner Bros. Entertainment Spain scholarship to a student in the first year of the ECAM Diploma. The objective of this scholarship is to support talent and the desire to start specialized studies in film and audiovisual, giving impetus to the careers of talented young people with fewer economic possibilities. During the presentation event, emphasis was placed on the importance of distribution in the audiovisual industry, and the importance that local productions are having in the company.

But Warner's relationship with the beneficiary student is not limited to financial aid, but extends to a series of crossover activities organized by the distributor. In this orientation program, the scholarship student can interview with executives from different divisions and departments of Warner (television, video, film, development of local productions...). In addition, you will be able to attend Warner events, and you will be invited to their press screenings.
As a novelty, this year the ECAM has the scholarship Energy Services. The main generator company in Spain has offered a scholarship to a second-year student of the Management Diploma. At the scholarship presentation event, it was highlighted that the objective of these scholarships is to unite companies with students, to encourage cinematographic professions to continue to be transmitted and for students to approach companies that will be their employers or suppliers in the future.
Gonzalo Salazar-Simpson, director of ECAM, stressed that students' internships are the beginning of their career, and that the relationships they form at school create synergies that will be the basis of their professional career.
The scholarship students have shown their gratitude to both companies and have appreciated the possibility that ECAM gives to obtain scholarships for students who demonstrate special talent but who have fewer economic possibilities.
