Visual Data Media Services, a provider of digital supply chain services for global content owners and distributors, has acquired Digital Post Services (DPS), based in Hollywood, a leading company in digital media services, as part of its global acquisition strategy.

DPS has a well-established track record of customer service that is closely aligned with the spirit of Visual Data. DPS has a broad client base with a strong presence in the independent film sector, and its core expertise in digital cinema packaging, digital distribution and quality assurance will continue Visual Data's expansion of its service offerings in the Los Angeles market and beyond.

The DPS team of professionals will now be based at Visual Data's facilities in Burbank.
