Feelworld launches the new LUT 7 and LUT 7S monitors

They are professional Broadcast monitors designed for pre-production, post-production and color calibration, capable of importing 3D LUTs, with independent HDMI signal input and output and very light.

Seetec Optoelectronics Technology presents its brand's first 7-inch 2200nits touchscreen monitors Feelworld: the LUT 7 and the LUT 7S. It is about professional broadcast monitors designed for pre-production, post-production and color calibration, capable of importing 3D LUTs, with independent and very light HDMI signal input and output. The 7S LUT also includes 3D-SDI input and output.

Feelworld equips filmmakers with a large screen (7”) for monitoring the recording, without mounting on the camera being a hassle. The 7/7S LUTs are packed with high-quality monitoring features in a lightweight format that can be connected to virtually any camera.

The front has a large high-resolution touch LCD screen that is perfectly visible in broad daylight thanks to its 2200nits. Have video connections at the bottom and an SD card slot on the side, as well as space for two NP-F970 batteries on the back. The outer frame has standard ¼” mounting points both at the bottom and on the left and right, to attach it to cameras and equipment. This detail in their design makes the LUT7/7S easy to attach to any camera and also allows them to be shared with a crew member or client on set.

A simple operating system

The operating system is flexible and easy to use because it is provided with a menu that makes it easy to access to all tools with just a few touches on the touch screen. Among others, it includes tools for focusing, framing and exposure (waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, RGB histogram, histogram, audio meter, focus peaking, zoom, zebra, false color, frame guides, safe area...). It also allows the flexible 3D LUT implementation (being able to use the LOG incorporated into the Rec.709 video or load .cube files) and options for anamorphic monitoring.

The 7” LUT7 /7S monitors display your content at 323 pixels per inch (PPI) and superior color fidelity and maximum resolution 1920 x 1200, allows for clear and precise field monitoring. The panel is made of optically bonded glass with a anti-reflective coating. But what really sets it apart is its light-emitting diode (LED) backlighting, which produces a brightness of 2200 nits. With this, it has almost 4 times more brightness than conventional field monitors, which allows you to observe the shot outdoors without the need for a sunshade and being able to follow all the details.

Additionally, it shows a 1200:1 contrast ratio and one sRGB/Rec.709 color gamut, giving exceptional screen clarity result even in intense lighting conditions. The wide 160º viewing angle makes it easy for several people to see it at the same time.

Professional color calibration

Feelworld is governed according to the estándar de color profesional Rec.709 HD y emplea la tecnología de calibración de color con instrumentos de calibración profesional en fábrica. Por ello, la calibración del monitor es ideal y permite obtener una reproducción precisa del color, sin distorsiones, mostrando la imagen real durante la grabación.

On the other hand, the transmisión inalámbrica permite el seguimiento de la filmación simultáneo desde varios monitores. Envíe la imagen, por ejemplo, al monitor del director del equipo de filmación y al resto del equipo.

Por último, los LUT 7 / 7S ofrecen 3 puntos de montaje estándar de 1⁄4 de pulgada. Así se fijan de manera segura a la parte superior de la mayoría de modelos de cámaras. Los orificios de 1⁄4 de pulgada en los lados izquierdo y derecho permiten el montaje en otros equipos mediante el brazo mágico, soporte, etc.
