UTECA logoThe Union of Open Commercial Televisions (UTECA) has proceeded to a deep renewal of your image brand, created by Alberto Herencia's studio, with the intention of updating and making its social commitment visible. Incorporation of the motto Faithful to society It is the expression of its involvement with the community in which it operates, with which it feels closely linked. A declaration of principles that guides UTECA's actions since its foundation.

The new image reflects its adaptation to social changes through a series of more agile and visual elements. Likewise, the color palette used represents the diversity and dynamism of its associates.

UTECA reaffirms its defense of the value of a open, free, plural, credible and trustworthy television, from which society benefits. Among its inalienable principles, the demand for homogeneous regulation for all audiovisual service providers, under the principle of “Same rights, same obligations", regardless of its transmission technology. This is a historic demand by UTECA that benefits society as a whole, by affecting issues as sensitive as the effective protection of minors, investment in European production, the tax contribution in national markets or the submission of all operators to the same supervisory bodies.

Established in 1998, UTECA represents the interests of Atresmedia, DKiss, Net TV, Real Madrid TV, Ten, Trece and Veo TV, which manage a total of fourteen Digital Terrestrial Television channels.
