LaLiga This season has begun a change of era with the help of its strategic partner for the next five seasons, Electronic Arts. In addition to the brand change and some audiovisual innovations, the competition renamed its OTT as LaLiga+.

This name change will be used worldwide, including Thailand and Indonesia, and will incorporate improvements to its usability, design and content. The OTT incorporates the look and feel of the new brand, a better user experience y more customization options, in addition to new packages and content for its subscribers.

The platform will offer clubs that want it their own space on the OTT with summaries, reports, interviews and more exclusive content, in addition to live training or grassroots football. For now, UD Las Palmas, CD Tenerife and SD Huesca will already have their own personalized space.

Julio Farinas, head of LaLiga+, recognizes that "it is important for us to adapt to the new era in every sense, not only from the look and feel of the platform, but also by incorporating improvements in the user experience, greater personalization and continuing with a total commitment to the best content. Therefore, we will continue opting for the flexibility of content and the increase in sports and exclusivity for our users. During this season there will be more exclusive competitions that cannot yet be revealed but that we are sure that they will surprise and conquer our audiences around the world.”
