AEQ will announce its new features for 2020 in an online presentation

From the new Atrium console, designed for the most demanding work environments, to new functionalities for the successful Xplorer wireless beltpack and the Olympia 3 commentator position, AEQ will review its latest proposals.

AEQ will organize next Thursday, June 18, a online presentation in it he will share the latest technological advances for the industry and will disclose all the technical details of its new developments.

The presentation will be carried out by Luis Miguel Sánchez-Migallón, commercial manager of AEQ for LATAM; Roberto Tejero, product manager and expert trainer at AEQ; Cesar Reyna, commercial manager AEQ-Kroma Mexico; and Nacho Olivella, commercial manager of AEQ Catalonia.

Among the new features, the consola digital Atrium. Designed for work environments with higher operational requirements. You can manage up to 1024 audio channels using one or multiple control surfaces.

Each control surface can have more than 90 motorized faders with pages for snapshots or memories.

In addition to analog and digital inputs and outputs in various formats, it handles AoIP inputs and outputs in DanteTM, AES 67, SMPTE 2110-30 and SMPTE 2110-31 formats.

Throughout this presentation, AEQ will provide details of its Xplorer wireless intercom, based on 5 GHz WiFi technology. Its dimensions and weight are small, it has an autonomy of more than 20 hours of uninterrupted operation and is recharged in a quick-connect multiple base.

Now, in addition to working associated with intercom matrices, it can work autonomously as a terminal for a 4-channel Party-Line system, which can also include stationary panels.

On the other hand, highlight the new X_Core audio matrix, a modular and redundant mixing, processing and distribution solution that supports up to 5,120 x 5,120 circuits.

It works as a general purpose audio matrix, as an intercom audio matrix, or with combined functionalities. It also acts as the engine for an Atrium console or set of consoles. Supports audio over IP in DanteTM, AES 67, SMPTE ST 2110-30 and SMPTE ST 2110-31 formats, among others.

Commentary unit incorporates video

Olympia 3 is a commentator unit with AoIP Dante connectivity including Intercom user panel functionality. Now through Videolink 4K incorporates IP video.

This new proposal is made up of an encoder and a decoder: each encoder encodes a video channel, incorporates it into the IP network and sends it to Olympia 3, from which the selected channel goes to the monitor through the decoder.

Lastly, regarding monitors, highlights its UHD/4K range that reproduces 4K signals in Single and Quad-Link in both Square Division and 2-SI formats. They include HDR technology and have different waveform and vectorscope displays. Now, in sizes 24” and 31”, models with high-brightness screens are offered.

For FHD environments, AEQ has waveform and vectorscope displays, also with Dual Input Dual Output, which incorporate, among other inputs, the option of an SFP module to be able to incorporate SMPTE 2022 IP Video. Now, they support HDR to achieve video playback with high levels of contrast, brightness and sharpness.
