Among others, live editing in Layout Builder stands out. The operator can now switch to live editing mode and from then on, any changes will be immediately applied to the selected monitor. When not in live editing mode, changes can be applied to the selected monitor at any time by pressing the “Publish” button.

On the other hand, a new snap grid option helps align objects during the layout creation process. Simply activate “snap grid” by clicking the checkbox at the bottom of the screen. The grid size can be freely selected by dragging the slider next to the checkbox.

Layout names are now displayed below each layout and can be edited by double-clicking the name. After typing the desired name, the user can simply click anywhere else on the screen or press the keyboard tab to exit editing mode.

Additionally, there are now folders for each wall in the file dialog. All you need to do is click on a folder to open it or use the back button to return to the folder overview. The last restored file in each folder will be highlighted in pink. Files can now be renamed or overwritten.

Lastly, Lawo has added support for UMD and OMD 3x and several control options. Even in the Layout Builder, it is now possible to manually change the Pip IDs. Simply select the Windows area at the top, click on the Pip you want to edit and a drop-down menu called PIP ID will appear that allows you to override the default IDs established by theWall.
