Orange France personalizes viewer experience with NPVR recording from Viaccess-Orca

VO's service delivery platform allows viewers to record programs in the cloud, reducing the operator's storage costs.

Orange France is personalizing the viewer's experience with the Service Delivery Platform (SDP) of Viaaccess-Orca (VO). The VO SDP has advanced capabilities of NPVR that allow Orange France subscribers to program and record linear channels from any device. By storing recordings in the cloud, VO dramatically reduces the operator's storage costs, while ensuring the best viewer experience.

Christian Bombrun, executive vice president of service products at Orange France, highlights that "NPVR is a must-have feature today for pay TV services. It offers viewers the flexibility to record, watch and resume their favorite TV program anytime, anywhere and from any screen."

La plataforma de televisiónde VO optimiza el consumo de almacenamiento de NPVR utilizando un método de copia compartida, capacidades de empaquetado sobre la marcha y eliminación automática de grabaciones con una fácil recuperación en caso de desabono involuntario.
