Viaccess-Orca guarantees a smooth transition between IPTV and OTT content in Orange Polska

Pay TV operator Orange Polska is using Secure Video Player from Viaccess-Orca for IPTV and OTT streaming on new generation decoders Sagemcom.

VO Secure Video Player does converge IPTV and OTT streams, allowing fluid transitions between live content, delayed television, catch-up TV and VOD to guarantee a superior quality viewing experience for Orange Polska subscribers.

VO Secure Video Player is iintegrated into the Orange Polsk applicationa, rather than being pre-integrated into the STB middleware. This provides the operator with better control over its video offerings, while simplifying future evolutions of the service. VO Player is integrated with multiple DRMs, including VO DRM, protecting Orange Polska content from abuse and piracy.

VO Player monitors the quality of experience, quality of service and user behavior on television screens, in accordance with the security requirements of content owners. VO Player ensures a seamless transition when viewers switch between IPTV and OTT, increasing satisfaction with the service.
