Valencia Region Film develops a new virtual tool to connect the joint offer with localizers from all over the world with a forum that will manage requests for information, discussion threads and generate networking.

In order to promote the Valencian Community as a large set filming Valencia Region Film has been present at the international festival Focus London 2020 which this year has been celebrated virtually due to coronavirus. There he presented a platform to connect and share experiences where localizers and professionals from the international film, television or advertising industry meet for four days.

The initiative, which promotes film offices throughout the region, promoted by Tourism of the Valencian Community y Valencian Audiovisual Producers (PAV) says goodbye to a year of promotional activities with its presence at this fair, which aims to generate virtual meetings and presentations on the diversity of locations, as well as communicate the advantages and benefits of filming in the Community.

Giovanna Ribes, president of PAV, states that "despite the circumstances, we did not want to miss the opportunity to once again be at the most important meeting of the audiovisual industry for film sets in Europe to talk about the incentives of filming in the Valencian Community. And even more so now that we have created new instant tools that bring us closer to the global industry. The great variety of spaces, locations and professionals that we have are our best letter of introduction."

The Albufera, the City of Arts and Sciences, the Peñíscola Castle, the Malvarrosa beach or the west promenade in Benidorm are some of the settings most in demand for productions, but they are not the only ones. The Valencian Community is a territory full of landscapes and diverse architecture with little distance from each other. In short, a natural set for the stories of the past, present and future to come to life.

During the four days that Focus London has passed, Valencia Region Film, which has been present in the space Shooting Spain Together with the film offices of Benidorm and Valencia, they have interviewed localizers and producers to show them the offer of diverse places, buildings and adaptable architecture.

The Community has 524 km of coastline and beaches, 22 natural parks, rocky and mountainous areas, as well as enormous palaces, castles and historical heritage, a mild climate, modern connections with the whole world and a great capacity of the local audiovisual industry, which make it a filming setting suitable for all stories and all times.
