Marc Schwarze, new director of operations at the Qvest group

Marc Schwarze has accompanied numerous companies in various management positions on the path towards digitalization and cloudification of their media production chain.

Qvest Media has appointed Marc Black chief operating officer (COO) y group CEO. Schwarze will be responsible, in particular, for the organization of resource, process and project management across the company, as well as the Managed Technology, Service and Support, Purchasing and Logistics units. In addition, he will participate in the management of several national and international subsidiaries, as well as in the strategic development of the business group.

In addition to new business verticals in the public and corporate sector, the Qvest group is successively expanding its service portfolio in the areas of consulting, as well as software and product development, and is also positioning itself geographically in new markets. Therefore, Qvest recently acquired OnPrem Solution Partners, a comprehensive solutions provider that strategizes, advises, designs and develops technology solutions for companies in the media, entertainment and consumer goods sectors in the United States, and dimensional, a digital UX design agency in Germany.

For Qvest's new COO, who previously held the commercial leadership of the German consumer television business across Telekom Deutschland's entire entertainment portfolio, Qvest's growth potential represents an exciting task: “I am very pleased to join the Qvest group and to be able to contribute significantly to operational excellence at the company's current high speed of organic and inorganic growth.”

Throughout his career to date, Marc Schwarze has accompanied numerous companies in various management positions on the path to digitalization and cloudification of their media production chain. Under his leadership, among other things, Deutsche Telekom's IPTV service was developed, which became the fastest growing product on the German television market.

In his most recent role, Marc Schwarze led Telekom's international technology delivery team and successfully transformed the Telekom group's European television platforms into the cloud. Schwarze has also worked as a management consultant at Accenture and as the founder of his own start-up.
