The VIII Platinum Awards gala will be held on October 3 in Madrid

IFEMA Municipal Palace Madrid will be the venue that will host the VIII edition of the Platinum Awards of Ibero-American Cinema and Audiovisual. The event will take place on October 3.

The delivery gala will put the finishing touch to the event Iberseries Platinum Industry, an initiative arising from the alliance of EGEDA y Sequoia Foundation. This appointment, which will take place between September 27 and October 1, was born with the objective of the largest international professional event in the Spanish and Portuguese speaking industry. During four intensive days, it will bring together face-to-face and virtual proposals such as activities, workshops, conferences, sessions pitching or master classes, addressing the challenges faced by the sectors of the production, distribution and exhibition.

Los Awards Platinum return to Spain, with a strict anti-covid protocol, after having been held for two consecutive editions in Riviera Maya. They do it with three new categories: Best Female Supporting Performance in Film, Best Male Supporting Performance in Film y Best Series Creator.

EGEDA and FIPCA initiative

Los Platinum Ibero-American Cinema and Audiovisual Awards are an initiative promoted by EGEDA (Audiovisual Producers' Rights Management Entity), FIPCA (Ibero-American Federation of Cinematographic and Audiovisual Producers). They have the support of the Ibero-American Film Academies and Institutes and numerous sponsors.
