LiveU, last member of the SRT Alliance

The He started SRT, an open source initiative dedicated to overcoming the challenges of low-latency video streaming, adds to LiveU, provider of live video streaming and remote production solutions.

With this movement, LiveU seeks continue supporting open standards regarding the contribution and distribution of video through the Public Internet. Within the brand ecosystem, SRT will coexist with the LiveU transport protocol, LRT.

The He started SRT, founded by Haivision In April 2017, it has more than 500 members. Its goal is to overcome the challenges of low-latency live streaming by supporting the SRT collaborative development (Secure Reliable Transport), streaming protocol open source originally developed by Haivision itself.

Collaboration between brands
