LiveU and Qatar 2022

With a record number of bookings from broadcasters around the world, LiveU is preparing for the largest deployment of solutions to cover the Qatar football championship.

Hundreds of LiveU 5G/4G field units have been reserved by the different broadcasters for live coverage of the World Cup with 4K/HD quality.

Televisions plan to use LiveU's solution for broadcasting from stadiums with official CRA (Communications Regulatory Authority) labels. The cloud based services of LiveU will also play a key role in production workflows, especially the use of LiveU Matrix for the IP video distribution of live broadcasts to global receivers.

The LiveU team is on site to support customers and take care of the technical aspects directly involved in broadcasting the matches, using their innovative technology. LiveU will also broadcast from fan zones, enabling the creative participation of millions of sports fans around the world.

LiveU service center in central Doha will provide assistance 24 hours a day and rental units with unlimited data plans, together with LiveU's local partner, Resolution Hire. With a multinational support team, LiveU will provide local on-site support in multiple languages ​​and at all competition venues.
