Univista TV debuts with AEQ intercom solutions

OM Solutions has led the integration of the new internet channel Univista TV. AEQ takes a fundamental role in the installation with its intercom and call entry equipment in the air.

The equipment chosen for Univista TV, whose headquarters are located in Hialeah, Florida (USA), has been completely digital and IP, both in the video and audio sections. OM Solutions has installed, among others, equipment such as digital mixers For-A Hanabi, he switcher live production Carbonite Black of Ross Video, the audio mixer with AoIP Dante connectivity Allen & Heath SQ7 o audio monitors Yamaha Audio.

The intercom system chosen was a AEQ CrossNet 72 Ports with twelve rack panels TP 8116 for production control gallery, production, video, audio and graphics workstations, as well as four desktop honeycombs TP 8416 for address and “spotters". The entire system is integrated into the AoIP flow of the chain and allows signals to be exchanged between the different contribution, production, intercom and coordination systems. System IP16 with connectivity to multichannel AoIP networks. For call control and live coordination, the installation was completed with 3 SystemSet+ from AEQ. This system is connected to the Univista TV corporate switchboard, which allows interconnection with all areas of the chain, both technical and administrative.

The entire project, with installation, configuration, commissioning and training has been led by the OM Solutions technical team, in collaboration with the Commercial Manager for special markets of AEQ, Peter Howarth, and AEQ's central technical services in Madrid, which worked remotely to complete the execution of the project.
