John Driskell Hopkins Band world premieres its new LP with a streaming starring the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K

Lonesome High, The latest album by John Driskell Hopkins Band, has been presented with a streaming broadcast recorded with several Pocket Cinema Camera 6K from Blackmagic Design.

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the John Driskell Hopkins I sought to achieve a workflow that was not excessively complex, but that at the same time met certain quality standards. His objective was to show little by little the news of the album he was working on, as well as maintain close contact with his followers.

In collaboration with the video editor and designer Harold Sellers, Driskell decided to establish a workflow composed of a selection of cameras Pocket Cinema Camera 6K and the mixer ATEM Mini Pro ISO. This last piece of equipment was key, as it allowed him to directly export the recording to a project. DaVinci Resolve, facilitating its subsequent editing.

The workflow installed on the Brighter Shade Studio from Atlanta was used recurrently during the months of confinement. However, for the launch of Lonesome High, Hopkins decided to expand the workflow: he needed more cameras to capture all the possible angles of his players. Hopkins and Sellers decided to add two Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro to assembly, as well as two Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, lo que se tradujo en un flujo de trabajo final de ocho cámaras.
