The Canon EOS R5 can now record in 8K ProRes RAW with the Atomos Ninja V+
The firmware update is now available that allows the EOS R5 to Canon capture content in 8K ProRes RAW format (Apple) from the Ninja V+ recorder and viewer atoms.
Thanks to version 10.68 of AtomOS, the system Ninja V+ now supports recording at 8Kp30 ProRes RAW. This native format of Apple It stands out for its performance in real-time and multistream editing, as well as for preserving image quality. Continuously evolving, ProRes RAW has recently received improvements in the area of white balance and ISO management, which will allow for greater flexibility during image processing during the post-production phase. ProRes RAW is fully compatible with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, Assimilate Scratch, Colorfront, FilmLight Baselight y Grass Valley Edius.
