Spanish Filmoteca and the Cnse Foundation will collaborate to facilitate the accessibility with sign language to the film funds
The CSSE Foundation for the suppression of communication barriers and Spanish Filmoteca They have signed a collaboration agreement in activities that facilitate accessibility for the deaf people of film funds.
Specifically, the agreement reached includes translation into the tongue of signs of 58 pieces belonging to the collection The filmed war, a collection of documentaries and news shot and mounted during the civil war that, grouped into 8 programs, supposes exceptional testimonies of the time. The materials cover from documentaries about the funeral of Durruti or the first session of Cortes held in Valencia after the displacement of the Government of the Republic to Valencia, to the entrance of the rebel troops in Madrid or reports on the treatment given to the prisoners of war on both sides. Each program also includes an introduction by historian Julián Casanova.
