The 4K-HDR Summit will have a marked Spanish accent this year
Since its first edition in 2015, the 4K-HDR Summit It has established itself as the main international meeting of content and technology on 4K and 8K, and has placed Spain on the world map of Ultra High Definition (UHD).
This seventh edition, which for the first time will have five days that will take place in Malaga from November 15 to 19, the presence of Spanish companies and professionals will have a greater presence.
The creation of the association UHD Spain, which equates Spain to the level of similar companies that Germany, France, Italy and Great Britain already have, has been a relevant fact in the international audiovisual panorama, especially due to the level of the companies that make it up.
Media groups such as Spanish Radio Television (RTVE), Atresmedia and the private television stations of UTECA, in addition to the regional television stations grouped in FORTA, with TV3 at the helm, have already been working together for months to promote in Spain this advance in image and sound quality that Ultra High Definition (UHD) represents.
“Spain will be the leading country this year at the 4KHDR Summit,” he advances Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media Events, which organizes this meeting in which hundreds of professionals, experts and companies from more than 40 leading countries in the audiovisual industry in Asia, America and Europe participate every year.
“We are closing the agenda, which we will announce on November 1, but almost all the sponsors and main speakers we invited have already confirmed to us for months their desire to continue being part of an event in which they feel very comfortable and in which they value the level of quality of the speakers, the presentations, the participants and our platform,” highlights Medina.
In the 2020 edition, a total of 2,037 users from 44 countries visited Medina Media Events' Virtual 4K HDR platform. The majority profiles were CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, and directors of Innovation, Business, Product, Strategy, Marketing, as well as producers, filmmakers, engineers, consultants and researchers.
The 4K-HDR Summit has been growing year after year, and from the two days with which it began in 2015 it has grown to five days this year to accommodate all the companies and sponsors that want to present their advances and news in an increasingly innovative industry.
