Matrox ConvertIP

Matrox Video Launches ConvertIP Series, a new family of standards-based IP transmitter and receiver devices that offers a simple approach to SMPTE ST 2110 and IPMX-ready networks.

These devices designed for broadcast and professional environments allow transform standard and existing infrastructures into interoperable networks, cost-effective and scalable 1 GbE, 2.5 GbE or 10/25 GbE to support a wide range of compressed and uncompressed AV-over-IP applications and workflows.

Along with the launch of ConvertIP, the new signal routing software stands out ConductIP. Designed to simplify content distribution on audiovisual networks of any size, the first signal routing platform IPMX ready industry-leading 360-degree view of all devices and media streams to discover, monitor and route any NMOS ST 2110 and IPMX-enabled audio, video and auxiliary signals on the network.

ConvertIP transmitters and receivers are based on ST 2110, the set of Open NMOS APIs and IPMX-ready industry standards-based technologies, combined with support for Pro AV, JPEG XS, and uncompressed codecs, make them the most flexible and interoperable IP devices on the market today.
