The most hidden side of La Moncloa stars in the new series by Secuoya Studios and The Pool
Secuoya Studios y The Pool They are co-producing a four-episode series that will show the most human side of La Moncloa.
Curro Sánchez Varela, winner of Goya 2015 for Best Documentary Film for Paco de Lucía: The search, directs a series that will portray the day to day of the Presidency of the Spanish Government. Throughout four episodes, the filmmaker will bring to light the most personal and human dimension of La Moncloa, seat of the presidency of the Government of Spain, including the participation of the current president, Pedro Sanchez.
A joint team of Secuoya Studios and The Pool, production companies behind the project, will follow the head of national politics and all the staff around him inside and outside La Moncloa, a symbolic setting recognizable by all, converted into another protagonist of the story.
This project is born from the presence in the documentary work market with similar characteristics that have had an important reception from the public and critics on international platforms. Therefore, Secuoya considers this project “an opportunity still to be explored in the Spanish market.”
An intimate approach
Through a narrative and visual proposal that moves between documentary and factual cinema, Curro Sanchez Varela seeks to build an observational story, which will focus on more personal and everyday aspects, far from purely political or ideological arguments.
