Buendía Estudios and Universal seal an agreement for the creation of series in Spanish

Aimed at the development of original programming in Spanish aimed at the global market, Buendía Studios y Universal International Studios (a division of Universal Studio Group) have signed an agreement to co-develop and produce original series, as well as to adapt NBCUniversal formats for the entire Spanish-language market.

Ignacio Corrales, general director of Buendía Estudios, highlights that “for Buendía Estudios this agreement with UIS is a fundamental step in its strategy of creating and producing premium content in Spanish aimed at global audiences.”

Safe Harbour is a bold psychological thriller that explores universal themes such as friendship, trust, humanity and others that are sadly current such as the struggle and search for justice experienced by refugees around the world.
