Disguise - NAB 2022

NAB 2022 will feature the latest developments in extended reality from Disguise, a company that joins forces with ROE Visual y Microsoft.

Disguise will collaborate again with your ROE Visual with one of its workflows applied to ROE's LED solutions at stand C5632 (Central Hall). Members of the disguise team will be present at the installation to demonstrate how the disguise workflow is integrated. disguise xR with the technology of LED and tracking camera, as well as with graphics engines such as Unreal Engine, to create a workflow that controls all production from a central software. On the other hand, a server disguise gx 2c will be present at the stand Microsoft in the West Hall (W3017), with experts to answer any questions about extended reality and television graphics.

Those who want to explore extended reality technology away from the hustle and bustle of the show will have the opportunity at an exclusive open house that disguise is organizing together with Creative Technology US from April 24 to 26. Those interested will be transported to and from the show via shuttle bus to the Creative Technology studio to explore extended reality for film workflows and live broadcast production.

Disguise training and events at NAB

In parallel, disguise experts will participate in the various educational sessions offered, including our session titled “Reimagining visual storytelling in broadcast” at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, in which the product director of disguise Broadcast, Gideon Ferber, along with David Jorba, director of strategy and business development for the data and content visualization solutions platform recently acquired by disguise, Polygon Labs, will talk about how their new solution “will eliminate many of the challenges broadcasters face related to audience retention and remote collaboration.” On the other hand, in the session titled “What would happen if we produced it today?”, which will take place on Tuesday, April 26 at 4:15 p.m., Disguise's vice president of virtual production, Addy Ghani, will explore what classic films would look like using Virtual Production and ICVFX workflows.

Finally, the head of technical solutions at disguise, Marcus Bengtsson, will join disguise partners, XR Studios, as well as the founder and CEO of Megapixel VR, Jeremy Hochman, in a session titled “Building worlds: inside mixed reality for live broadcast”. Together they will explore how to make a modern broadcast stand out through immersive productions with mixed reality which has been used with great success in shows such as MTV Video Music Awards, Masters and Champions de Riot Games, or the concerts of Billie Eilish and Camila Cabello.
