Telefónica and Qualcomm will define the future of the metaverse and XR

The future of extended reality and the metaverse will be the subject of study of the latest collaboration between Telefónica y Qualcomm Technologies.

Together, both partners will work to develop and grow the XR ecosystem (extended reality), leveraging the developer platform Snapdragon Spaces XR and the Telefónica's fixed and mobile network infrastructure. The agreement also includes the exploration of opportunities joint commercial ventures and the launch of products and services XR/metaverso, which opens the opportunity to offer new experiences to customers merging the digital and analog worlds, reimagining commerce, entertainment and communication.
