CineEurope 2022

In CineEurope 2022, at the Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB) from 20 to 23 June, Christie will demonstrate cutting-edge solutions, custom designed to meet screen needs of any size.

A selection of Christie products, ranging from their xenon, RGBe and Real Laser projectors to your new platform Cinergy for cinema theater management, will be exhibited in room MR 134, in the company of Christie Vive Audio y Christie CounterAct, with Care222, a patented optical filter UVC disinfection technology that is the first in the world that can be used in spaces occupied by people.

Adil Zerouali, Christie's senior director of cinema for EMEA, is very excited to "be able to meet in person again with the sector, at an exciting time, in which we see a sustained recovery in theater attendance. We have expanded our range of technological solutions since our last participation in CineEurope. The goal is to consolidate Christie's position as the best option for those exhibitors seeking to offer their viewers indelible experiences, which translate into box office successes whatever the size of screen.”

“This edition of CineEurope is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with our European partners, make new contacts and show everyone that our technologies make it possible for viewers to live unforgettable experiences and for exhibitors to improve their income,” he adds.

RGB laser projections

Projectors with Christie Real Laser illumination offer movie theatergoers top-level experiences, raising the bar in image quality, with greater color range and contrast than any competing technology, but at a lower cost of ownership.

Among the products with Real Laser and CineLife+ that CineEurope visitors will be able to see is the CP4435-RGB, with a durable light source that guarantees more than 50,000 hours of stable DCI brightness and makes it the perfect projector for large commercial rooms.

It will also be exhibited CP2315-RGB, an RGB projector with pure laser lighting, along with the CP4450-RGB, which incorporates Mystique Cinema, an automated alignment and calibration software for dual projection compatible with DCI, which allows flawless blending to be carried out in seconds.

Highly reliable xenon projectors

The movie projector CP4420-Vehicle Christie's makes its European presentation in Barcelona. Armed with extremely reliable Xenolite lamps, the projector ensures long-lasting brightness and an excellent image with lower running costs than its competitors on the market.

CineEurope visitors will also see the CP2306-RGBe, a projector with DCI standards, equipped with reinforced RGB laser lighting, CineLife electronics and improvements in color range, brightness, contrast and operational life, in a very affordable projection platform for small screens.

Cinergy - DCIP - Christie

Cinergy y CounterAct

Representatives from Christie Professional Services will provide visitors with information about Cinergy, the new cloud-based movie theater management platform from Christie, which is already monitoring more than 26,000 screens and 60,000 devices. With Cinergy, theater operators can now manage theatrical presentation from a single centralized platform; achieve efficient operation of the entire circuit with automatic key delivery and centralization of maintenance; manage highly accurate data and reports in real time that allow well-informed decisions to be made; and monitor the health of the system in real time, ensuring, among other things, that the public enjoys the best possible presentation

Finally, note that a Christie CounterAct unit will also be present in room MR 134. CounterAct is a commercial line of UV disinfection devices. Equipped with the patented Care222 far ultraviolet (far-UVC) radiation technology, it eliminates up to 99% of pathogens in spaces with human presence, adding an additional layer of protection to multi-disinfection strategies.
