Telemadrid prepares for the IP by integrating 1 and 3 Albalá modules into its studies
A wide range of latest generation modules Albalah have been deployed in the technical controls of studies 1 and 3 of Telemadrid (RTVM) with the aim of being able to produce HD video based on SMPTE 2110 IP technologies.
Between the modules Albalah supplied highlights the model AIP2000C01, bidirectional converter of up to 16 audio signals framed in SDI video, AES/EBU digital audio or analog audio to audio over IP according to AES67. Likewise, a complete synchronism generation system GNSS referenced with 1+1 redundancy and ability to generate all test and reference signals including Black-Burst, Tri-Level, Word-Clock, LTC timecode, DARS and PTP (IEEE 1588). These equipment, among other functions, will allow the controls of Telemadrid studios 1 and 3 to be assigned “in a quick and automated manner” to the production of programs on the four existing sets.
As part of this remodeling, other Albalá modules have also been deployed for the transmission and reception of signals from different locations at the RTVM headquarters.
