IPTV modules for Promax DTTV headend
Promax expands its DTTV headend with the necessary modules to convert information flows from TV to IP and vice versa, with different operating options.
Promax, aware that users increasingly consume TV services packaged in Ethernet format, has expanded its DTTV headend with the necessary modules to convert information flows from TV to IP and vice versa, with different operating options.
Systems have been developed that can respond to both the most professional broadcasting needs and the needs of the end user in unique installations and even in hotels, residences, etc. With these modules, total versatility is given to the DTTV headend that allows it to convert any input signal format to any output signal format.
The DT-421 module is an ASI to IP converter module that allows you to link an IP network with an MPEG-2 ASI network. Each of the services or even the input TS itself is packaged within an IP/UDP or IP/RTP/UDP stream, with an IP address (Multicast) and UDP port specified by the user.
Option for SPTS inputs
ASI converter to IP multicast SPTS frames (streams). The DT-421-S module assigns a multicast IP to each of the selected services. The result is delivered at the Ethernet output so that each service is a TS-IP multicast SPTS, up to a maximum total of 40 (10 for each ASI).
Option for MPTS inputs
4 TS-IP multicast MPTS frames (streams) will come out of the Ethernet output, containing the same services and DVB-SI tables as in the input TS-ASI.
The DT-324 is a converter from IP packets to TS-ASI transport frames. Extracts information from an Ethernet network and processes and delivers it to up to 4 TS-ASI outputs.
The 100 Mbps /1000 Mbps input must be connected to an IP network that carries MPEG-2 transport stream packets. The module extracts IP frames from 4 Transport Streams corresponding to the 4 available DVB-ASI outputs.
