Hispasat evolves its OTT platform with Wave OTT Plus

The Latin American market will be able to access the new Wave OTT Plus service from Hispasat, which combines the capabilities of the OTT platform as a service of the company with linear content and premium video on demand.

Wave OTT Plus is an enhancement of the white label OTT video distribution platform that Hispasat launched last year, which is now complemented by an offer of more than 50 international linear channels, series, movies and other premium content provided by the world's leading programmers.

Pay TV operators and Internet service providers that want to complement their current offering or add a new service to their portfolio will be able to offer their customers these OTT streaming services through custom applications with your own brand and on different devices. Wave OTT Plus is totally customizable and has the “most advanced and demanded features and functionalities on the market.”

Likewise, since it is a solution end-to-end, the new service includes all the elements technical, operational and content. This eliminates the need to purchase a own infrastructure and content distribution licenses and, in addition, the operators and suppliers reduce both the investment and the implementation times of the service.

The new service Hispasat, which is part of the portfolio Hispasat Wave Video, will be initially available in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela; Soon, it will also be offered in Brazil.
