Mandarina and Mediaset film the comedy starring Antonio Resines 'Serrines, actor's wood'

Taking a turn in his acting career to enjoy the prestige he has always longed for: this is the challenge faced by the main character of 'Serrines, Madera de Actor', a new comedy that Mediaset España and Mandarina Productions They have started recording this week with Antonio Resines as the protagonist and which will be released exclusively Prime Video.

Jorge Sanz, Lucía de la Fuente, María Morales, Marta Flich, Ginés García Millán, Luis Bermejo, Canco Rodríguez, Jaime Pujol, Carmen Ruiz, Mar Abascal, Teté Delgado, Jesús Castejón and Ana Morgade play the different characters in the professional and personal life with which the protagonist of the series, produced in collaboration with Mandarina Productions and developed by Mediterranean Mediaset Spain Group.

This new fiction, directed by Jaime Botella, who has Carlos Cebrian as director of photography, he addresses the story of Serrines, a veteran performer who has enjoyed popularity in his career thanks to his participation in a series that was very famous a few years ago, but who has not achieved his main aspiration: to enjoy the support of critics and prestige in the entertainment industry and among his professional colleagues.

Cuando está a punto de protagonizar el reboot de esa serie con la que se hizo conocido, deja en la estacada al servicio de streaming que lo produce y decide dar un nuevo enfoque a su carrera. Para ello, y pese a que siempre ha sido reticente a tener representante, contrata a la hija de su primo y le encarga que le busque obras sesudas en las que pueda interpretar un papel que le consagre como actor. Sin embargo, su objetivo no será nada fácil de conseguir y pronto se verá abocado a participar en campañas publicitarias de productos de segunda fila, entre otros trabajos, para continuar sobreviviendo mientras encuentra el personaje que le permita conquistar a la crítica.
