Forta and RTVE will promote new policies for equality

The maximum representatives of FORCE and RTVE They have agreed to undertake new actions and strategies to consolidate in public televisions policies of equality.

The agreement has been ratified in a meeting in which they have participated Elena Sánchez Caballero, Interim President of RTVE; Cascajosa conception, President of the Equality Observatory of RTVE, Carmen Amores García, President of La Forta; Enrique Lauricia, General Director of Forta, and Francisco Moreno, Unique Administrator of Canarian Radio. The meeting is part of the joint work actions of the Compostela Convention, signed by RTVE and Forta in July 2021.

The agreements acquired at the meeting will be fruitful in initiatives such as the Exchange of experiences; he development of equality plans without sparing on "how many tools are necessary" to guarantee non -discrimination by sex in the work environment, as well as in the Content production that "favor the change towards a more egalitarian society." In this sense, it has been proposed to study the possibility of creating A working group with the objective of exchanging information about the current situation of each organization.

To continue working in this direction, Forta and RTVE will soon offer a seminar dedicated to good practices and challenges in terms of equality sponsored by the equality observatories of both corporations.
