Christie, technology partner of Cannes 2023

One more year, Cannes trust Christie as the official technological partner for the projection of the 2023 edition of the event.

The projectors Christie RGB and Xenon pure laser will illuminate more projection rooms and auditoriums than any other year throughout the city, including the Grand Théâtre Lumière. The company's equipment, which makes up the lighting system Christie Real|Laser, will provide relevant advantages technological (with 95% reproduction of the Rec. 2020 color space) and operational (with “significant cost savings” due to its energy efficiency).

This year, Christie projectors will bring to life a programming which includes the expected projections of Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny, Killers of the Flower Moon, by Martin Scorsese, and the premiere of Occupied City, a documentary by Oscar-winning British director Steve McQueen. In addition to Cannes 2023, film festivals and leading content creators around the world, such as the Toronto International Film Festival, Shanghai International Film Festival and Malaga Film Festival, rely on Christie to showcase the latest world cinema releases.
