Cibeles de Cine once again brings the seventh art to the heart of Madrid

The eighth edition of Cinema Cibeles, held again at the CentroCentro Crystal Gallery (Madrid) until September 14, confirms a program for July full of special events.

On Wednesday, July 5, it will be screened Siege, session in collaboration with Sensacine presented with its director, Miguel Ángel Vivas, who will also participate in a subsequent colloquium. Another special event will be the screening of Ramona on Thursday, July 13, organized in collaboration with Glamour and its series “The films that built us as women”, and presented by its director and screenwriter, Andrea Bagney, who will also participate in the colloquium with Carmen Mañana, content editor of Glamor magazine.

In addition, this summer the sessions will return cinetronic, where silent cinema is combined with a soundtrack of live electronic music. During the month of July, the films that can be seen in this avant-garde format will be on July 11 with Doctor Caligari's office, with a live show by Caliza, and on July 17 with The fly man (100th anniversary), where Buster Keaton gives us one of the most overwhelming physical performances in film history, this time with a live show by Meneo. Cibeles de cine is organized by CenterCenter and devised and produced by mk2 and his events agency, mk2 Sunset Cinema. For 11 weeks, the viewer will be able to choose from a program made up of more than 70 films, made up of great classics, cult titles, seasonal hits, films for the whole family, and independent and auteur films. In the last edition, more than 25,000 spectators gathered.
