Uttopion joins Pixel Cluster and Guainot to bring movie theaters to the metaverse

The network of Madrid audiovisual companies Pixel Cluster and the producer Guainot have allied with Uttopion with their sights set on showing movies in a digital movie theater located in the metaverse.

Uttopion, a platform that seeks to offer different services in the field of metaverso, directs his gaze to the exhibition with the aim of “offering cinema the possibility of rejuvenate the industry and adapt to new consumption habits” that could “economically reactivate to the film industry itself.”

From a space dedicated to cinema located in the metaverso of Uttopion, users will have free access to buy their ticket, as has been done until now at the physical box office. In this way, anyone, from any point on the planet, will be able to access a movie theater of global reach.

As pointed out Uttopion, the premiere of the first movie in the metaverse will take place during this year and with this union other projects related to cinema and audiovisuals will be generated where training has a place.

Pablo Tosot, producer of Guainot, is optimistic about this emerging distribution route: "Cinema adapts very well to new formats. The metaverse represents a blank canvas to tell stories and live unique experiences. We seek to connect the journey between viewers, the plot and the characters. It is an exciting challenge." For its part, Sergio Perez, manager of Pixel Cluster, considers that this “is an opportunity for the generation of content made in cinema to move to a virtual environment and be marketed, generating additional value to the traditional exploitation of IPs.”
