Western Digital brings the news of its SanDisk and SanDisk Professional brands to Amsterdam
Western Digital launches new solutions from its SanDisk and SanDisk Professional brands within the framework of IBC 2023, which expands its ecosystem of digital content storage solutions for the broadcast, media and entertainment industry.
The new products are two desktop drives and a memory card that offer the level of quality and security of industry professionals for production-grade video workflows, without sacrificing a premium design.

As to SanDisk Professional G-Drive Poject, its Thunderbolt 3 interface offers superior performance and supports daisy-chaining of up to five devices to create multiple digital content creation workflows. It is also compatible with USB 3.2 Gen 2.
It features an Ultrastar 7200 RPM enterprise-class hard drive that offers up to 22TB of capacity and 260MB/s read/write speed to flexibly handle demanding workloads and back up critical content.
SanDisk Professional G-RAID Mirror
with up to 44TB capacity maximum (22TB on default RAID 1) on two Ultrastar 7200 RPM enterprise-class hard drives, the new G-RAID Mirror solution is designed for tougher workloads and archiving critical content, allowing users to back up their day-to-day work knowing their most important files are in one place.
When delivered in RAID 1, critical content is automatically mirrored to the second drive for secure data redundancy. Additionally, it can be easily switched to JBOD or RAID 0 by flipping a switch, without needing to download an app or install software.

Pro-Cinema CFexpress Type B
Finally, regarding the SanDisk PRO-Cinema CFexpress Type B card, it is designed with cinema-quality environments in mind. With Minimum sustained write speeds of 1400 MB/s, this card allows users capture 8K video with cinematic quality without dropping frames.
They are design is super resistant as it withstands drops of up to 1 meter and up to 50 newtons (11.2 pound-force) of force to protect irreplaceable images and videos.
Furthermore, it is compatible con Pro-Reader y Pro-Dock 4 and allows you to pair the Pro-Cinema CFexpress Type B card with SanDisk Professional Pro-Reader CFexpress and Pro-Dock 4 devices (sold separately) for scalable, simultaneous downloads that help maximize productivity.
