IBC 2023 It attracted more than 43,065 attendees to the RAI in Amsterdam, 16% more than the previous edition, from 170 countries in an event in which more than 1,250 exhibitors participated.

Media leaders and technology pioneers from around the world gathered at IBC, with lively networking events and packed auditoriums, to define and act on the future of media and entertainment.

Topics such as cloud, AI, 5G, VR/AR/XR, metaverse, esports and edge computing featured prominently in the show's pavilions, including proof-of-concept demonstrations by IBC Accelerator Media Innovation Program projects, championing cross-industry collaboration and pioneering new use cases.

IBC2023 introduced new initiatives such as a immersive eSports showcase in collaboration with Unlocked to present the latest innovations in eSports production and delivery. In addition, the old Future Zone was transformed into the IBC Technological Zone, promoted by the EBU.
