ISE reaffirms its commitment to exhibitors in the face of LG's absence due to the 'coronavirus'

Calling for tranquility and aligned with the WHO guidelines, the ISE organization, together with its co-organizers Avixa and Cedia, have made an official statement regarding the decision of the LG company not to attend the event, which is being held for the last time in Amsterdam.

Given the recent international information regarding the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV), Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) has made public an official statement about its imminent call, which will take place from February 11 to 14 at the Amsterdam RAI.

“For the last sixteen years, the co-owners of the exhibition, Avixa y give in, are committed to offering an event that benefits the global audiovisual industry. ISE has always seen itself as the steward of this event – ​​a place and time for the industry to come together and grow. “We reaffirm and continue that commitment by holding the event for the last time in Amsterdam.”

“Our determination to continue with the event was made taking into account the current guidelines provided by public health authorities, including those of the World Health Organization (WHO)", they say.

From the organization they understand "that our exhibiting partners will make decisions based on what they consider best for their employees and customers, and that this situation requires us all to make informed decisions considering the most up-to-date information possible. With this in mind, we will continue to share information as soon as it is available."

Exhibitor participation

"From our top 250 exhibitors, as well as many other exhibitors and companies, we have received incredible support and assurances of their participation. And although the company LG has informed us that this year it does not intend to occupy its space de exhibición en ISE, esperamos que los otros grandes expositores estén preparando sus nuevas tecnologías, ofertas y anuncios para mostrarlos al público asistente”, reconocen.

Sin embargo, como era de esperar, debido a las restricciones de viaje globales, la organización admite algunas cancelaciones de algunos expositores chinos lo que representaría menos del 20% de los espacios de exhibición.

En cuanto al número de asistentes, en este momento el registro está por encima de la cifra en el mismo punto en 2019. “Si bien, no se puede afirmar que todos los registros se traducirán en asistentes reales, los datos de registro siempre han sido un pronóstico preciso que nos ha ayuda a planear logística de la feria”, afirman desde ISE.
