Martin Audio debuts the THS, a super-compact speaker with a maximum SPL of 135dB
The THS, a compact and powerful point source loudspeaker with a maximum PSL of up to 135 dB peak, joins the TH series of Martin Audio.
He THS of Martin Audio has been designed for environments in which some exceptionally high sound levels provided by a compact, self-contained speaker system. The LF section of the THS includes a 15” LF transducer, reflex loading that has a 4" coil, waterproof cone and structure with neodymium magnet. A 4" annular midrange radiator and another 2.5" annular radiator for the highs, both equipped with high-temperature polymer diaphragms, have been arranged coaxially on the rear of the LF transducer and integrated into a ¼" output. This passes through the magnetic structure of the LF driver to an 85° x 50° horn. The horn itself is rotatable by the user, with a large mouth to maintain control of the pattern through the media.
On the other hand, the system has been built in plywood of birch and finished with a durable textured paint.
